June 10, 1805

Captain Clark has been very ill

for the past few days, and is still

feeling sick. "Gather some

Chokecherry Branch. Skin the

branch and make tea. I must

make medicine."

wheezed Clark.  Goodrich hopped

to it.

Later, Drouilliard wanted

very much to help Captain Clark,

but Clark wouldn't let him. "You

must work." he said. Soon Clark

was sitting, then walking, and

finally he went to bed.
