Here I am riting in my jurnal, as I am just starting to reveel the devistayting news. Sargant Floyd Bluff has passed away, as I am very sad to say. Before he died he said to Lewis, "I am leeving you. I want you to rite me a letter."

Mr. Floyd's Death

August 19, 1804
The Keelboat's Doctor

As soon as I awoke yesterday morning, tragedy happened. Mr. Floyd started to vomit continuously as he experienced much, much pain. Recently he was quite the sick one, but this? This was more than I have seen in decades. His life was clearly at stake, but the neither I nor the captains themselves could sooth or heal him.
